Little Man received a 2 at State this morning and he is thrilled! The piece he chose this year is an "A rating" in regards to difficulty of the piece, which is typically reserved for the skill level of a junior or senior. So for a freshman to make it past Districts and advance to State, then receive a 2 at State with a piece this difficult has him (and us!) elated.
Oh, and many have asked why I still call him Little Man when he is a foot taller than me (and I'm not short for a girl either); simply put, he will always be my Little Man.
